Drank on a flower day. I've usually preferred the regular bottling of Chevalier Montrachet to the La Cabotte. Perhaps I've just not held them long enough. This bottle was drinking very well and can hold a few years though the colour would suggest otherwise. Smells of a woodland trail early in the morning. Flavours are stony with just a hint of marsipan and crushed raw almond. Good length.

200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Also here no winner in the glass unfortunately like the Le Montrachet next to it. Very baroque with ripe Pina Colada flavors. Not classic.

Bouchard Père et Fils Grand Cru: Lieu-dit Cru Blind White Burgundy Dinner (S.K.Y. Restaurant - Chicago IL): Tasted single blind in La Cabotte flight, served to the group double blind. Slightly tired with rich baked apple. Age has lessened the wine's weight. Slightly past its peak.

Twelfth Annual White Truffle Dinner (Chez Weber - Chicago IL): In 99/00/02/07 flight. Drinkable but more advanced than it should be, so not served to the group.
