Was opened right out of the fridge along with indian food. Not the best pairing I could think of. After warming up, being exposed to a whiff of air and no more dal on the palate it showed quite beautifully. Conectrated, precise. With flint, candied lemon. On the palate there was juicy acidity that reminded of dried apricots. Some roasted almond too. Probably more impressive in 5 to 10 years.

Very shy on the nose. Nice, precise on the palate, could be a tad more voluptuous. The 2006 from Bouchard I had before was more of a charmer.

Tangerine, butter, oak smell. More of the same on the taste but some iron oxide/steel finish. Quite long.
