Another terrific bottle of this, still going strong. I am a sucker for white Bordeaux, I love the savory-saline-marine notes along with the fruit. This one was classic and highly aromatic with vanilla bean, caraway seed, candle wax, celery soda, and fresh tarragon. Well balanced between fruit and acid, there's good weight and a fully resolved structure I would drink now or soon, don't risk this fading or the pox.
A long-time favorite, still showing well with a waxy-lemon-vanilla profile that I find compelling. The palate is rich with some honeyed apples, but there's plenty of cut. That said, I think these should be enjoyed now, as the color is getting darker and some oxidative notes are there on the backend. 91-92 pts.

(Chateau Carbonnieux Blanc Pessac-Léognan) Attractive, rather floral nose, showing mineral character, with a little cordite and gunpowder minerality. But the palate disappoints; rather fat, lacking in acidity and freshness. That mineral character found on the nose is nowhere to be seen. One to avoid.
