A bit of a disappointment. I remember being thoroughly WOWED! at the Ponzi Wine Bar when first tasting this.
Subtle and pleasant aromas of dark berry, rose, and spices; similar flavors with light to med. body. Prominent acidity. Nice but simple and a bit unsurprising.

A San Diego Birthday Bash (San Diego, California): 13.7% alcohol. Clear garnet color. Wonderful bouquet of mixed red fruit, musk, clean animal fur, roses. Similar on the palate, full body, excellent balance, with lingering notes of spice box and black tea. Superb example of Oregon pinot noir.

It did not take much time to really open up (probably 30 minutes or so) and it was great once it did. Really impressed with the complexity of the wine and the many layers (from cola, to cedar spice, and red fruits). It was also a lot darker than other Oregon Pinot's which visually tricks you into thinking it is a heavier wine.

Some cherry...medium body/depth..Nice balance. Not a lot of structure. More for current consumption.
