In the words of John McEnroe, CT geeks, "you can't be serious!!" 85 pt average? Really?? This wine is outstanding!
Excellent. Precise. It's viscous and dense. Apple pie and brioche on the nose. Superb weight in the mouth. Super sweet, but not cloying. Asian pears and pippin apples are evident. Slides down like butter.
Best chard I have tasted in the last 12 months. Outstanding!

Liked this bottle better than the last four months ago. Still a little too oakey for me, but was actually pretty good with spinach and cheese ravioli with olive oil, no pasta sauce.

Very ordinary California chardonnay - some fruit upfront. High MLF. By the second glass the buttery/creamy taste is quite pronounced. Two hours after opening the fruit is going flat and the lactic components dominate. A decent choice for people who like creamy and buttery chardonnays. If you like crisp whites, you may get tired of it before you finish the first glass (I did). I give it 79-83 because it doesn't have any obvious faults that I can detect (it's just not my style), and those who like this style of wine will probably enjoy it.

Fruit is disappearing. Lots of buttery notes. Went great with some spicy home-made Kung Pao Chicken.
