Perfect bottle. Mature colour, transparent, pale, clear, yet with sediment in the bottom of the bottle. Lovely mature nose of roses, wild strawberries, curry powder and a hint of lingonberries. Very good mature Burgundy from Lalou Bize Leroy. Good mature flavours. Secondary notes. Strawberries and lingonberries with an herbal touch. Nice acidity, fine mineral, lovely finish. Not so long ... but still + 35 sec.
Just a perfect time to drink this wine. It will last for another 5 years, but it will not get any better.

Drink and pour for Christmas. Light red, shows a bit age at the edges. Raspberry and Kirsch nose, with a hint of mint. Nice sour cherries, raspberry. A bit short but very elegant. One feels the limitation of the vintage but the skills and the tremendous selection of/by the winemaker. Drink now until 2015.
The Haut Brion 1999 in the other glass was more memorable.

La bourgogne rouge (Le coup de grâce, Paris): Nez bizzare (dans un sens positif)
Très long, très profond, dense.
