Pretty sure this is over the hill. It was still enjoyable but showing signs of oxidation with a fair amount of bricking. Light body, dull red fruit, some spice, a bit thin, decent acidity. Day 2 completely fell apart. Would drink up if still holding.

One year later: Continues to please with a solid fruit aroma - the balance remains imperfect as some alcohol is still noted. Full fruit flavor with a tart finish. Expresses the Village well. There is enough fruit so that it will stay robust in the bottle over time, but there are not many tannins to drop out that will change the profile much either.

Garnet with a tawny rim. Austere and not clean nose but not sure if faulty. Evident rot and wet leaves with underlying red fruit. Chalky in palate with crispy acidity and medium+ unripe medium grained/tight tannins that are in balance with alcohol and body. Austere and sturdy, wont imrove. Money drop...
