Vine cuttings from Rioja Aleveasa? Darker than the Grenache, more oak too it tastes like. Yes, its true 16 months in french oak, 40% new, blended with 5% tempranillo. Has a little bit of this Refosco like funk (maybe carbonic thing?) that I just can't get my palate around. With some grippy tannins on the back.

Very tasty again. Bright red berry fruit with a complimentary smoky note as well. A touch better at pop 'n pour vs. the last glass a few hours later.
