uncorked and recorked bottle 4 hours before drinking, the wine in the sample glass was full at first tasting, a little flat an hour later, then opened up again. Light and slightly spicy, touches of nutmeg, smokiness, cherry. Dry to the taste, but really well balanced, and again a light finish. Difficult to pin down all the flavours. I was pleasantly surprised by the bottle, and figure that it could keep for a couple more years still. A classic Pessac.
