Piedmont II - better and learnings; 11/23/2019-11/29/2019 (Barolo, Alba, others): Out of a coravin and who knows how many pours the bottle had been through so hard to give a strong judgment. This glass was not my jam. All barnyard, truffle, coffee rinds. It's gone beyond the secondary into straight up tertiary. Not sure about it honestly.

The wine looks brick colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry, forest floor and coffee. It tastes like cherry jam . The body is full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity. Excellent

11/24/2019 - retired_and_roving Does not like this wine:
Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): At the Vino de Vicino tasting room (La Morra). From coravin pour and way passed its sell by date. Unsure if this relates to the open coravin status or just the place this wine is on its evolution. Bitter coffee grinds and not much else. Hard pass.
