  A moderately mature Burgundy colour that's lost all traces of youth. Attractive, if rather uncomplicated nose. Soft red fruits with hints of stewed strawberries, raw button mushrooms and some nice parsley and tarragon notes.
  Good, full attack. Very clearly mature, and certainly the palate seems more mature than either the appearance or the nose. Lovely very soft remnants of fruit, furniture polish, a hint of peppery spice and still some quite grippy tannins.
  A good, if rather unexceptional mature Nuits St Georges.
