Had this with a mixed grill dinner tonight. Opened 1/2 hour before dinner; aerated w/Vinturi. Nice wine - nose had a bit of petrol, but smooth, dark fruit on the palate. Not a long finish, but definitely pleasant with dinner.
Huge vegetal nose; smells like someone took a weedwacker to grape vines directly over the bottle then corked it. (Over)Extracted fruit and huge amounts of basil & bell pepper. It's tasty but so far over the top it's astounding. Pair with musty cheese like gorgonzola or suffer the consequences. This is extracted in the same way that Everest is a hill
