Light golden. Citrus and honey. Compared to the nose, the palate surprises in that it is relatively light, almost completely dry, and pretty snappy. Unique, interesting Chardonnay.

Martine's Wines Portfolio tasting (MK, Chicago IL): nose: hi-toned and airy nose with great tones of lemon peel, apples, white florals, and mineral tones. Really good depth while having a lightness to it
taste: extremely balanced with lovely tones of apples, pears, white florals and minerals. Good crisp acidity gives this a nice spine, though it seems rather ready to drink
overall: a lovely white burg. Nice hi-toned aromas and flavors but has nice depth to it. Easily the best Macon that I've had
