This is a 90 and might be upgraded to a higher score for the last 8oz. At first there was no fruit and all tannins. It was opened two hours before the first sip. After it had been open for 3-4 hours the balance, with good, dark fruit, was there. Tannins were still mouth drying at times. CT window ends in 2018...no way. This has 8 years, at minimum, left.
This was tasted after vinturi aeration and also a day later. It was a bit better the second day with bright red fruits but it does get a bit muddled and bitter on the finish. I do not know if it will acheive balance with further age. It is decent but not great.
