A marvelous wine! Still very vibrant with a clear golden color, fresh and caramelized green apple on the nose, with underlying herbal and coconut-vanilla . Beautifully balanced, with the perfect acidity and a pleasant buttery/"oily" mouthfeel.

Golden color, creamy and buttery in the mouth, almost heavy. Could use a bit more acidity. The aromas are more floral than fruit with some butter and honey as well. A change from the more mineral and stone fruit driven chardonnay's we've been drinking. Not very complex but goes well with this evening's meal of "comfort food" The second glass exhibits a bit more of the mineral and stone fruit characteristics and dustiness and warrants a slight upgrade on the score that I was initially going to enter, putting it into the very good to excellent range. This is a wine for fans of the CA style chards rather than what I know of the French style.
