Took overnight to reveal, so a decant is essential. On that second night, lengthy, well integrated, but on night one, closed, short, even after several hours. I think well stored, the best is ahead of us.

I could see some rating this higher- initially on night one I gave it a 90 and expected better but got less on night two, when it disorganized. The tannins aren't integrated the way I would like. It's a reasonable good cab, but there are better.

PnP from 750ml. I would like to rate this a little higher - after all, it wasn't a hot, extracted Cali cab mess - enjoyable indeed, if a bit uninteresting. Pleasant, simple mouthfeel. Medium at best finish. Just a good every day Cab, not much more

Wow - initial nose of blackberry and vanilla just exploded from the bottled when I uncorked it. I was concerned that it was going to be a fruit bomb as it was quite "jammy' on the nose. First taste, however, was quite good - definitely not a fruit bomb. I decanted for a couple of hours prior to the SuperBowl. This is my first taste of Trivium and I'm quite pleased that I have a nice vertical of these still. This is one fine Cabernet. Not overly tannic - very nice long mouth feel - satiny - blackberry, creme de cassis, and vanilla. I can't wait to try the 2006 and 2007.
