Having recently returned to the States after three years and several hundred different sakes in Japan, I was pleased to find this made-in-America ginjo. It has a rounded and slightly sweet taste (i.e. a low number on the seimaibuai scale) -- which is exactly as I like it. I prefer to drink it chilled. The brand seems to be widely available, and the price is reasonable (under $15/bottle).

SakeOne and Cheese Tasting: Clear color with promising, clean tropical and tapioca aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied, and dry with pineapple, mango and a bit of ginger flavors. 14.5% alcohol

Clear and dry, with notes of tapioca and barley, and some underlying sweetness, especially on the finish. Tastes better chilled than at room temperature, especially the hot finish. 14.5% ABV.

Green orchard fruit with lychee and raw almond aromas. Clean, bright apple and nut flavors, on the light side. Ends softly.
