During the La Paulée in Zurich, so no detailed tasting notes. From DMG, showed spectacularly. Expressive and beautiful nose with farmyard, underbrush, sweet spices, red fruit.

La Paulee, only brief impressions. From double magnum. Superb fine red fruit core, with some herbs and crushed rocks around it. Overall a bit simple but with good finesse and an airy texture. The acidity was a tad too pronounced.

Late night big session at Maison Dakota. Drank in Grassl Cru. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour with wide garnet rim, Thin legs. Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of sous bois and slight animal, tertiary earth, dark red cherries. Developed. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), soft light tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of earth, minerals, sous bois, savoury tertiary earth, dark red cherries, fading black cherries. Fading weakish medium finish. Good quality. Feels like very much time to drink up already. i like the nose. Knowing how good the 1993 vintage of this was, not sure why the conclusion for this 2007 vintage seems to be a drink up soon. Other CT reviews seem to be on the same page also.

Still hanging in there. A very nice tipple if you like fully mature wines.

Fully mature. Give it time to open up. Changed a lot as the night went on. Drink now if you have any.
