Fine balance of acid, fruit, and tannins. Good intensity of flavors without being heavy or sweet. Enjoyable, especially with lamb, but not our favorite wine when drunk beside others.

Straightforward Aussie Shiraz blend. Palate of underripe plums (a little tart on the finish). Appealing hint of bacon fat on nose not present on the palate. Not a bad Tuesday night wine. Was much nicer immediately after opening -- too much faded overnight.

Ruby in the glass. Inviting nose of raspberry and white flowers. Bountiful flavors of elegant raspberry, flowers, Rhone-like herb notes, and velvety tannins. Dry, moderate acidity, harmoniously balanced, with a long finish.
Drink now through 2017.
