I like this. Very dark in the glass, with purple edges. Nose of blackcurrant plus touches of eucalyptus and graphite. Light to medium bodied in the mouth, which is how I prefer my cabernet as we approach summer. Black and also red fruits, mint and rosemary. Well balanced with nice kittens tongue tannins on the finish, if you know what I mean. Grippy. Took an hour to open up, and then got better and better with each passing minute.

PnP. Dark claret with a purple not opaque core and and red rim. Cassis and euclyptus nose. Medium weight with nicely burred tannins a touch stemmy on the finish and cranberry skin mid-palate. Cassis and red fruits touch of mint and rosemary (bring on the lamb chops) on the palate. Nicely balanced and good complexity a bit sharp at the end. Great value.

Nose has blackberry, graphite, mint tea, and a steel/metallic quality. Blackberry and black currants continue to the palate, average weight, good acidity, finishes slightly tart and green, but overall very nice. Improved over two hours in the decanter.

Fun-filled way to start Aug: Standardish example of commercial premium quality aussie cab. Minty coolness shows but being young , this has noticeable alc but balanced off by dark cherry fruits coming from a pretty good hot year. Some spicy fruits too. Not terribly exciting but gets its point across.
