  • Non-descript. Might be too cool. Will check it again later. Otherwise disappointing.

  • Good QPR. Has nose of dark fruit and cedar. Palate with pepper, tobacco, and dark cherry. Structured tannins and a nice finish. Good quality Garnacha.

  • Initial pouring presented with very earthy and mineral notes. 24 hours later, wine blossomed with intense ripe cherry and fruity flavors. Very surprising on how much this wine turned over one day after opening. Will certainly buy again.

NOSE: very “winey”; sweet red fruit – strawberry, red currant, strawberry jam; menthol; interesting high-toned hint of orange peel.

BODY: clear; ruby color of medium depth; medium-full bodied.

TASTE: ripe red fruit; strawberry and oaky spice – oak comes across as a French/Hungarian mix; slight note of tar/reduction/rubber tire on the front-mid palate; 14.5% alc. can be tasted a little – dull alcoholic bitterness; short to medium-short finish of moderate intensity; round; not much structure; drink now.

  • Interesting and intense. Tons of character. Possibly a bit challenging for some. Great nose, lots going on in the glass. Front end explodes with flavor, but there are some sharp tangy dimensions that may turn some people off. Would love to try this varietal with some age. Tannins very soft. I love big wines and this was an upside surprise, although would let this age or look for an example that's been aged in some oak to mellow it. This is a lot of wine for around $10.
