1975 - 1976 Guess The Red (Rich & Peggy's House, Los Altos, CA): Ruby, youthful color. Dark fruit on the nose and flowers. Youthful palate, with deep cherry fruit and just a hint of leather and autumn leaves. Medium bodied with nice structure and medium tannins. Only nit is that the finish is a touch astringent. This is lovely and still has years to go. (my 2nd, group's 3rd)

1975 - 1976 Guess The Red (Rich & Peggy's House, Los Altos, CA): Ruby core, slight bricking. Deep cherry nose, menthol and bit of milk chocolate. Light bodied, silky texture, dusty tart cherries and a bit of greenness. Quite nice, but the greenness detracts for me. (my 5th, group's 7th)

Very dark color with very little signs of bricking. Beautiful, developed nose of mushrooms and truffles. Still a nice core of fruit present. Fine tannins provide a nice structure. Amazing freshness and vibrancy for a 33 year-old wine.
