  • This was in a nice spot...and appears to have a lot of life left in it. Scents of forest floor, mushrooms, raspberries, dried strawberries, and clove on the nose. On the palate notes of dehydrated red fruits dominates with a burst of cherry/raspberry at the core and trailing off into more tart red fruits like cranberry as the finish lingers. Went really well with lamb to pair. Outstanding! This seems to have a little time left if stored well, light-medium body, high acidity, and vibrant fruit with a long finish.

  • Unfortunately, we waited too long to drink this pinot. It disappeared quickly off the palate

  • Once again, I have been pleasantly surprised by how well some of Ken Wright's wines from '95 - '97 have held up. Very Burgundian, with lots of minerally earth, and still plenty of cherry and red raspberry fruit. Nice balance and structure.
