Wine & Whiskers 2016, we were told it's a blend of 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay, nose of strawberry, raspberry, minerals, chalk dust, and yeast, same on the palate, medium/big body, absolutely delicious for a sparkling wine under $19, the 90 degree weather helped to make this a tasty effort, long finish.
Very good QPR entry level CA brut rosè bubbly enjoyed at the inaugural tasting of our new wine club last night - appreciate this wine now more and more for what it is especially given the price point. Very nice and pleasant, decent mouth feel, effervescent with very small bubbles, surprisingly floral nose given that the primary flavors are strawberry, cherry and raspberry. Short aftertaste and not built for aging - ths wine is all about instant gratification. Highly recommend.
