  I was afraid this would be past its prime, but it's still going strong. Well structured. Smooth. Full-bodied mouthfeel. Very much a Rhone white. Served with cheese/nuts plate before Thanksgiving dinner. Paired well, especially with Reblochon cheese and Marcona almonds. Half a glass left once dinner started, and it held up well against a traditional turkey dinner, too. Beautiful.

  Pale gold colour with a minerally nose, almost sometimes a little cheesy. Weighty, almost creamy on the palate with notes of quince and lemon barley. Flavoursome but lacking a touch of freshness.

  Straw coloured. On opening, maybe a little too chilled, the nose is stony and minerally. As it warms there are notes of milky coffee and sherbet. Full, creamy palate with orange barley, dried apricots and pineapple. Long nutty finish, full of toffee and hazelnut. Good.

  Glossy gold with aromas of chalky white stone fruits. Full and round; opens with unripe plums, quince and stony minerality; with time in the glass it becomes honeyed and sweeter with notes of ripe apricot, barley sugar and marzipan. Lovely.
