  • Incredible mouth feel - elegant wine, with grip, gorgeous depth and complexity. Medium to long finish. Remarkably good. 94-95.

  • Nice aromas of ripe Pinot fruit and earthy undertones. Just a hint of Vosne spices and some violet/floral notes. On the palate, decent acidity but quite burly and rough tannins dominate. Tons of structure here. Tannic, short finish. Overall lacks complexity that I was expecting. Probably a lot better in 5+ years.

  • I like the palate better than the aromatics. Sweet fruit, depth, intense and quite long. May lack complexity of some of the other wines.

  • La Paulee 2.0 S.F.: Soft red fruits...nice spice, leather...alive kick of acidity, some dry tannins...could use even more time.

  • Alcohol :: 13%
    Vibrant med ruby red. The nose is super, focus, fragrance, complex nose that blossom with violet, rose petal, spices, , mushroom and red cherry fruits all framed by elegant mineral. Still a bit tight and lots of substance underneath. While the nose is an elegant pretty, the palate is definitely wilder and a little bit rougher. Some tannin present on the palate, with tons of blackberry sweetness, spices, heavy iron that bring out a little bit of rustic, good weight, mineral and trace of alcohol heat. The wine starting to pull itself together after 15mins in the glass, juicier with alluring spice, dried herbs and tea leaves with gripping tannin and structured.

    The nose is getting better throughout the night with riper fruits, super perfume floral, spicy and earthy tones which is captivating while the palate has not much evolution that seems lack of the class of the nose. This should have some upside potential with another 3-5yrs bottle age but I doubt it will be much. Buy - No.
