Stunning. Exotic floral, sous bois, and red and blue fruit nose with sappy yet ultra feminine palate. Drinking at the peak of maturity. Might pass as Musigny with a little more mid palate weight.

Dinner at Ceres Table (Ceres Tables - Chicago, IL): Super pretty and elegant pinot. Aromas of florals, red cherry, and autumnal tones like leaves, spice, and earth. The palate was in a great place too - flavors seemed perfectly integrated and deep. Lots of elegant floral and berry notes made this just a treat to drink.

At the Sundance Burg offline. Wonderful wine, a surprise to many people, and amongst the top several of the night. Delicate, transparent and beautifully balanced. Good QPR and glad I have one more bottle. Probably at its plateau, but will continue to drink well for a few years at least.

A relative letdown, both to the prior bottle and the others around the table. Still a very good wine, but seems to be quite mature and fading.
