Color: medium-deep ruby core -> diffuse, light ruby rim. Stellar nose on PnP of cola, raspberries, black cherries and rhubarb. Beautiful palate showing that California can still show off the feminine side of Pinot; pomegranate, sour cherry and strawberries. A touch sweet on the attack for my taste and needing a bit more earth/forest floor but gorgeous nonetheless. Great acid profile and an elegant finish, I think this still has time in hand.
Etches the tongue with a sophisticated cherry singe that fans out to a complexity of flavors that has increased over the last couple of years without losing much of the intensity. We drank through these since they were so delicious but could have waited as they're still improving at the moment.
