  • Good fill and the cork was in excellent condition. A youthful dark purple hue with a little cloudiness. I gave this an hour of air, but it didn't change much. Lots of dark fruits in the nose. Palate featured cherry, plum and blueberry. Balance was decent on this food wine with bright, but demure, acidity and resolved tannin. A coy cold climate cab that is drinking well now and should continue to do so for the next few years.

  • Very smooth but not as complex as I would have hoped. I wasn't clear on the optimal time to consume this wine, but it opened up nicely as I let it breathe. Lots of tannin at the start, but it cleared up with an hour in a decanter.
