(PEGAU Cuvee Reservee CdP) Pegau Dear Friends, Tonight's offer does not require a long diatribe or dissertation. The more I taste this wine, the more I'm convinced it is one of the finest wines of the 2007 campaign (not surprising). While not as raw as certain vintages of Pegau, it is still produced in a singular style that has become all too difficult to find in the Southern Rhone - one of tradition and reflection. If you are looking for 2007 birth-year wine (a 21st birthday perhaps?), this would be an enticing candidate as the track record is there for spectacular ageing and it will certainly increase in value due to the aura that surrounds 2007 and the eventual rarity that will follow it into adulthood. While tempting to drink now, I wouldn't touch a bottle for at least 10 years and preferably 15. ONE SHIPMENT ONLY of the 2007. This wine has arrived with impeccable provenance: 2007 Domaine de Pegau Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee Reservee Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Rhone3489
