Has not aged well since 2009. Slightly boozy nose of kirsch, black plums, figs, and cured meats. Saturated palate of ripe black cherries, prunes, and cola syrup. A little flabby.

As I write this, CellarTracker shows 96 bottles still being cellared. I say try them soon. This bottle was over the hill, with shrill, acidic notes and no fruit. Luckily, my last '07 ...

Terrific wine! Drinking beautifully. Deep dark strawberry nose, dark garnet hue, smooth, velvet, easy drinking, well balanced. Held up against spicy asian cuisine.
