Bastille Day with GMs and Mivvy: AP #21, 500ml. Melon, lemon, orange, white florals and peaches. Good flavour intensity on the palate, the spritzy acidity feels well balanced by the sweetness and fruit. Good length and texture, this is still developing and has plenty left to give.

The wine was a medium yellow; the color of sunshine. The nose was a bit reticent, but revealed peaches, honey, and a mild floral note.
The flavors were sublimely concentrated: peach and honey with whispers of cherry, pineapple and white flowers. The sweetness was held in check by the ample acidity -- perhaps not enough to please an acid geek, but perfectly well balanced.
This was crazy good from an unheralded producer and a nice reminder that you drink the wine, not the label. Delicious.

Very impressive again. This bottle was a little more muted on the nose than others I've had in the recent past, but on the palate it was still explosive, full and mouthcoating with a ton of cherries, white fruits and honey with a jab of minerals and acid at the back end.

Lopez de Heredia dinner at Troquet (Boston, MA): Light yellow colour with an incredible nose that soars from the glass, showing honey, slate, peach and other orchard fruits and hints of rose petals. Rich and sweet in the mouth with peach, pineapple and red fruited flavours layered with minerals and honey, yet surprisingly light on its feet with bright acidity and a long finish.

East Village Riesling Extravaganza (New York): Full bodied and intense, showing expressive flavours of red fruits, apples, peaches, honey, nuts and flowers across the nose and palate. Creamy in texture with good acidity underneath keeping it in balance and a long sweet finish.
