Cork was soaked and soggy. Showed past seepage. Lead foil capsule. Red garnet colour showing some age. Aromas were earthy and restrained. Deep charred flavour i associate with several chassagne reds, especially pronounced in this bottle. Some funkiness that persists.
Overall enjoyable, but certainly austere bordering on underwhelming.
Drink or hold to 2023. 13% abv.

There's plenty of life left in this under the radar 15 year old Premier Cru: medium garnet color, red fruit, good balance and length. By no means a stunner, but as good a Burgundy as I've ever had at this price point. B-
