Blind Tasting 1968-79 Ridge Geyservilles (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA): Funky nose of tomato, mushrooms and stewed meat. Light bodied with medium+ acidity. Leather, shoe polish, bitterness, unripe cranberry. Savory elements and shrill acidity dominate.

Nose - smooth mature red fruit and a velvety antique wood spice, sweet cinnamon candy.
Soft, mature, some tannic punch after a couple seconds, mature cherry, touches of candy corn, bitter lime zest and pith, cinnamon stick, VA.
