The scion had been after me to pull this. The name appealed to her. (Note to self: work on scion’s critical reasoning.) A pale yellow. Nose of boxwood, gooseberry, vanilla and anise. Palate tracks the nose with the addition of lemon grass and lime. A creamy mouthfeel. Definately fatter than a Sancerre SB; not as crisp and lively, but a fine SB nonetheless. It carries the surprisingly high 14.2% alc. very well. Some tartrates in the bottle. With crab legs and drawn butter. Recommended.

bright, lively acidity with enough sweetness and fruit to harmonize into a beautiful sauv blanc

This one is fading fast....drink it very soon. Still good, taking on more of a soft chard character.

Not at all over the hill. This wine has been stored at 50 degrees and was still fresh and delicious.
