  Interesting, but quite an oxidised style. Perhaps more like Madeira than Tokaji? Brown with caramel and nut aromas. Drink up.

  For an almost 50 year old bottle of wine, this wine had a remarkably delicate palette that was vibrant. The acidity that usually keeps a wine like this alive for so long did not stand out and was nicely knitted into the fruit profile.

  The nose showed crushed fall leaves, spiced orange, and ripe apple in brown sugar. On the palate, I found lifted textures, with minerals, exotic spices, and dried apricot. It finished incredibly long with lingering notes of dried orange, fresh fig and spice.

  If compared with last 2000 Dereszla Eszencia which is a step above this elder.
  Delicate on the nose with honeyed aromas of figs and penicelum. A smell you can't stop of sniffing.
  Palate is a little vetuste yet acidic and creamy. I like it. However the last glass was turbid and a little atypical.
  
  Si se compara con el pasado 2000 Dereszla Eszencia que es un paso por encima de este anciano.
  Delicado en la nariz con aromas melosos de higos y penicelum. Un olor que no puedes dejar de oler.
  El paladar es un poco vetusto pero ácido y cremoso. Me gusta. A pesar de todo el último trago estaba turbio y era un poco atípico.

  Den mörka färgen är ännu härligare i glaset. Fikon är den dominerande frukten, och vinet dricks underbart just nu - även det har flera år kvar av liv. Det hade blivit en ännu högre score om det funnits en aning större komplexitet. Valde en mindre söt dessert till vinet - mandelostkaka med grädde och hjortron. En utmärkt 'pairing' då sötman i vinet inte var jättehög.
