Beautiful wine! Incredible aromatics of mushrooms and brambles, with dark cherries coming through. Highly savory with cherries and spice mid-palate, giving way to more earth, mushrooms, and a long finish of anise. Paired well with the Russian dumplings at Paley's Place in Portland, Oregon.

Medium crimson in color, this wine showed muted notes of asian spices, cherry pit and black pepper on the nose. The moth feel brought a spicy, tangy taste with elements of raspberry. The finish was a little short with fading acidity.
This wine has 1-2 more years of life left but is clearly beginning its decline.
Tasted at a special Le Cadeau Older Vintages dinner outside Wilmington, DE that I co-hosted at a friends house. Tom & Deb Mortimer, the owners of Le Cadeau, joined us to taste these treasures that all the attendees brought from their personal cellars.

Medium red color. Drank several glasses over a week or so - (coravin). My last bottle of '07 Equinoxe and either a poor bottle or on the downswing. This seemed a little on the stewed side with cranberry, sour cherry and raspberries, earthy , but a somewhat thin. My hunch is this one is not of perfect provenance and perhaps some heat damage. 87-88pts.

Nice earthy, red fruit with some allspice notes. Med bodied with softer tannins on the finish, although the finish tonight was abit clipped. Fairly Burgundian in style. All in all, quite nice.
