Santa Cruz Mountain & Santa Clara Valley Tastings: Cherries and raspberries on the nose. Soft cherry fruit on the palate, adequate acidity, obvious oak influence and some light tannins. Needs time for oak to integrate and seems likely to improve.

Good, not great Pinot. Solid overall. Good food wine. Like a baseball player who has warning track power... needs a little more oomph.

Very thin after pulling the cork. Was surprised to see it improve greatly a day or two later, but it was still a bit thin.
