My first experience with a black muscat. I have to say this pairs wonderfully with parmesan cheese, in fact it was better with cheese than with dark chocolate, which is what I like with dessert wines, port in particular. For the price it's a decent value for dessert wine.

Enjoyed very much over about 10 days and the last glass was as good as any. Was looking for Elyssium but I bought this as a cheaper alternative at $9. Could not compare side by side with Elyssium but I would guess the Rosenblum is nearly as good and the better QPR. Agree with esb's notes. This is fortified with 10% brandy... the alcohol notes are very strong at first, but blow off in 15-20 minutes. Decant or pour and let rest.

Almost muddy rust colored. Georgeous nose of cerry and roses. Sweet and creamy dessert wine.

Lousy. Cheap fruit and oxidation. Rosenblum never agrees with me and I should have known better to try a weird wine from them.
