Elegant fragrant nose of feminine perfume and a little toasted nut. This wine as of 2010 is drinking young - the tannins are course and the mouthfeel is a little rough and tumble. This is a Burgundy with a lot of backbone, and will probably be showing much better given 4-8 more years in the bottle. Interesting guava aspect on the finish.
Needs just a bit more time. Decanted for an hour before serving and tannins are not as well integrated as they could be. A pleasant stony herbal mouth-feel though this was outclassed by the 2007 Williams Selyem Westside Road Neighbors.
