Medium to deep red. Nose with dark plums, including some cooked plums, spice and some crushed stone. Palate with dark plums and blackberries, rather good concentration, not too high but still present acidity with some tart fruit impression, slightly noticeable alcohol, spice, some tannins that don't make themselves too much felt. There is a bit of a "disjointed" feeling to the palate (the nose is better) - and the tart fruit impression is part of that - which makes me mark the wine down, so I score it 85 p. When I compared to some earlier notes, I wouldn't rule out that it simply hasn't developed too well.

Really fruit-forward nose, bright red berries. The palate has got large red cherry and raspberry with a light earthy backbone and light tannins. Nice balance between acid and flavors. Really bright fruits. Big fruit, lighter bodied than I expected, very good but not mind blowing.

viognier takes the edge off the young tannic tempranillo nicely... like a modern rioja style with a sweetness and fruit.... maybe a little too much sweetness? too young obviously but probably not for the long term.
