Typical low end white Burg I guess. Hard palate with little obvious fruit, rather some brunt wood and what strikes me a heavily sulphured impact (could be making this up of course). Tangy acid to finish. Can hardly complain at the price ($12) but I don't think I am out of line with expecting more from this AOC.

Buttery and nutty nose. Same on the palate. Decent drinking but I won't seek it out again.

Oddbins French Wine Masterclass - Champagne, Burgundy & South East France (Oddbins Farringdon, London): Nose: pear, pineapple chunks, pencil eraser
Mouth: acid, pineapple, citrus, shortish finish.
13% £6.99. Okay but forgettable, no oak but some time on lees - the short finish means that this would probably go with any food you wanted it to.
