We had this with Kobe Prime Rib on 7/18/15. It had a soft, smooth and harmonious bouquet of black currant, smoke, mocha, cocoa, vanilla, licorice and spice aromas. The palate was smooth, rich and dry with flavors that followed the nose. Our group’s average score was 92.75 points.

great wine, well integrated, but think it needed more air as was more closed than expected (about an hour of decant at restaurant). Last of my bottles of this, sadly :(

(Corliss Estates Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) Lighter and more refined wine than the Red Wine on both the nose and palate. The nose displays dense, dark fruit along with coffee grounds, mocha, and spice. Undulates along the palate with black licorice, coffee, and luscious cherry fruit. A palate coating wine with beautifully integrated oak. 82% Cabernet, 9% Cab Franc, 7% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec, 1% Merlot. 14.9% alcohol. 225 cases produced.
(Corliss Estates Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) A pleasing nose, although not as compelling as the 2003. White pepper and coffee grounds mark the nose and taste. A chewy wine that is very big on the palate.

Some bricking. But it is still a great cab. I have one left and will be drinking it soon.

Had at John Howie with Srini. Wonderfully solid cabernet profile. Last one and it went out in style!!

Full bodied, ripe cassis fruit. Still some firm tannins on the long finish.
