  2017 Sella Ronda Ski Trip; 1/12/2017-1/15/2017 (Alta Badia, Italy): Decanted and served.
  A different style of scrio or just age gives this a different dimension. Well balanced , not the rich oaky wine of youth that we would have thought dry by now ( this was the late husband making the wines in 1997) . Has aged very well and was very elegant. A very solid 93 and drink now

Sadly this was my last bottle so you can learn from my experience. Definitely should be decanted. Plenty of power remains here. Give this beast some air. Then you'll get a beautiful wine.

  Extremely dark og nice. Some vegetables on the nose. Extremely concentrated dark fruits, dark berries. Delicious and volumnious. Really goes for it. Tasted blind. Wine Battle at Max's 03/03/2006.
