A great '08 GSM for its price point at around $15. Jammy nose, great attack as it lingers through the palate. Cedar notes and some spice, although not peppery. It's a great little Rhone blend from WA. We'll buy more.

Two-hour decant. Very bright berry fruit on the nose. Initial palate is total cherry Slurpee and boysenberry yogurt: very creamy and fruity. Good balancing tannins and acidity check in on the midpalate to help tame the exuberant fruit for a little while. However, you can only hope to contain this fruit, because you can't stop it. Lots of vanillia and cream on the back palate. The finish is clean. I paired it with fresh pasta with a tomato-based Bolognese sauce, and it was absolute money. Young, fresh, straightforward, and ebullient, this is a fun bottle of wine. For the price ($16.00), I'd buy more. Cheers. (86-88).

Syrah 54%, Mourvedre 36%, Grenache 10%. A well rounded, uncomplicated wine with masses of ripe fruit, stones and some added acidity. This is a very good QPR, food friendly and pleasing to most palates.

Chalky on the finish, fruity edges but solid core. Tight on the nose. Nicely balanced and quite interesting. Shows some Syrah but restrained, kind of bounces back and forth.
