Kept this around for a long time and finally drank it with a juicy ribeye steak. It was worth the wait. Still very big and bold and probably could have gone another few years. Very jammy with lots of berries and licorice. Surprisingly still some tannins left. Wish I had more left. 92 points.
Beautifully elegant and has developed so many layers of flavor. Toast, cedar, earth, leather, hints of dark, muted fruit on the nose. Toast and leather continues on the palate. Still has enormous structure and chewy tannins. Has developed nice secondary characteristics and has the potential to continue aging for a few more years.
