  Notes from day 2. Dark purple color. Nose of mostly crushed blueberries, some black raspberry, with a little minerality, and pepper going on towards the end. On the palate there is straight up mountain blueberry, black raspberry, a little bacon-y type minerality going on, and a hint of black pepper. The finish is above average and the overall balance of this wine today really impresses me and the profile is right down my alley. This is not overoaked which is a suprise. Much better on the second day as the first day it seemed a little hot and simplistic. Hold. 50+5+13+16+7
