  • Amazing for a 2007. Great nose offering up small black fruits, plums, spice, and truffle but still amazingly youthful with years ahead. Rich fruit on palate but balanced by judiciously balanced lovely mineral acidity and soft silky tannins.I cannot see the over wooded ( Plank )
criticism that has been often pointed at Olivier.

  • rich, pure and intense. Wow, is this really an 07?? Incredible!!
easily the best wine I have seen from that mediocre vintage.
very Gevrey, dark fruits, blueberry/blackberry, with earth, iron and braced by an herbal element.
will power on for a decade or two, but this is drinking just perfectly now.
    super wine

  • Great Wine , the fruits, and herbs and minerals jump out of your glass with a great intensity! sold and dense wine and the acidity keeps it in great balance.

  • Absolutely gorgeous! The 2007 Olivier Bernstein Charmes-Chambertin provides an elegant array of deep red pure fruit. Adding to this are spice and herbal tones. I read "incredibly good" in my handwritten notes... The palate provides a whif of heat, but overall provides immense integration and balance. This is a very elegant wine which will continue do develop for many more years to come. It is still young, but certainly drinks nicely. (score is 94-95) (Scored blind without proper food.)
