Let's see. Last bottle was consumed in 2009. This wine is still going strong. Red cherry, anise, clove, blueberry & a bit of mocha. Tannins more subdued than last time. Drinking well now.

One of the best Australian shiraz' that I've ever tried. We had this head-to-head with an Elderton Shiraz, Barossa and it kicked-butt. Big, but not over the top. Cherry & bramble fruits, nice tannin, long finish. Seriously good.

I have a love hate relationship with these big Australian wines and I don’t know why. This, almost black wine, has a massive bouquet of oak, cherries, strawberries and perhaps burnt toast. A beautiful mouth feel with 30+ seconds of cherries, bitter chocolate, more berries and oak with a ton of tannins remaining. This is a huge wine, but not over the top. Something I would like to try again in 5+ years.

Solid, bold but not over the top. Good fruit flavors and balance. Could use a couple of hours to open up, but enjoyable minutes out of the bottle.
