Amazing initial aroma -- it was like being in the vineyard at harvest -- grape bins, dry, dusty earth -- I swear it even made it seem like hot weather. Those aromas faded, replaced by blackberry jam and tobacco leaf with lush, sweet mouthfuls of blackberries and licorice. This is an excellent, easy drinking Zin with no hot alcohol or bitter distractions getting in the way of pure velvet in the mouth. What it lacks in complexity, it makes up for in pure enjoyment and value. 89 points. (from 375ml)

Very grapey, nice body, not so much tannin. Served with left-over turkey.
